[Found under: “NA NUHOU KULOKO.”]

On the 27th of the past month, January 1918, the son of Mrs. Charles Dwight of Makiki Stret, Number 1543, Honolulu, left this life.

George K. Dwight was born in Honolulu in the year 1890, and he was 27 years old when he died. He graduated from McKinley High School and was employed at Lewers & Cooke. And when he died, the flag was flown half staff at his work place of Lewers & Cooke in remembrance of that Native Son of the land who worked with them.

Last month, in December, he left Honolulu and went to enlist in the gas and flame [hooluuea] corps of the engineers of the American Army.

[We join the mother and family in remembering him. And it will be God who will give us all respite.—Editor]
