Flu epidemic, 1920.

11 DIE OF THE FLU THIS PAST TUESDAY.

Eleven people died of the flu and one of pneumonia as reported by the board of health on Tuesday for Honolulu. Four died at the Papa Ola Hospital, one died a the Japanese hospital, and one at Queen’s Hospital.

There are 176 cases of the flu reported by the board of health on Tuesday; this is the highest number reported on a single day since Monday last week, for on that day 185 cases were reported, which was the highest total since the first of January.

From the 1st of February, there has been a total of 1600 cases in Honolulu, or 178 from the 1st of January. Included in this figure are those that emerged and those who died.
