A photo of the Maori entourage, 1920.

This is a photograph of the Maori, number fourteen, who arrived in Hawaii nei, on the 16th of this month, to increase their faith and their understanding of the Gospel of Christ. They are not separate from Hawaiians, they are just a little different in their language from the Hawaiians. According to them their kupuna came from Hawaii. These Maori will spend ten weeks here, staying at Laie, and here in Honolulu. Located in this paper are many thoughts pertaining to them, written by Mr. Clarence W. Kinney. James Lambert is an elder from New Zealand, the haole amongst them.
