Some Questions.
O Friends of the Kuokoa; Aloha no:
May it please you, O Mr. Editor, to insert in an open pace of our columns, these questions, so that those who understand our Hawaiian language will see; and these are they:
- What is the nature of the word “Kuauhau?”
- What is the nature of the word “Mamo?”
- What is the nature of the word “Hoka?”
These are the questions I am thinking of, and it is for those who are fond of question to respond; I am hoping that there will be answers. Do not think that I am just doling out questions, for it is not so. With appreciation.
J. W. Kalua.
