Pii ka manene holu malie,
Napenape i ke ahe kapalili.

I ka inu wai a ke aloha.

2 Ka leo hoenehone o ka Iwa,
Ka’u ia e hiipoi nei,
Malama ia iho ka welina,
I kuleana no’u ilaila.

3 Pau ole ko’u hoohihi,
Kahi wai huna a ka noe,
Nana i nowelo iho,
I ka liko pua o ke kukui.
