HAWAIIAN HULA IN PHILADELPHIA, AMERICA
At a party given in Philadelphia some weeks ago, according to news received, the thing that was most delightful was the Hawaiian hula portion.
The people who carried out this portion of the program were women of high ranking in that city. They adorned themselves with Hawaiian hula costumes sent from Hawaii nei. There were a number of Hawaiian songs sung with the playing of Hawaiian instruments. The gathering was given to assist in a philanthropic fund.
