Dangers of waiu luliluli! 1898.

The soldiers of the F batallion of New York were alarmed this Monday due to a total of 40 soldiers becoming nauseous after drinking milk shakes [waiu luliluli].

[As a single person without any children, I do have a lot of free time to spend finding articles in the Hawaiian newspapers about all kinds of things, whether it be trite stuff about milkshakes to heavy genealogical moolelo. We only can do what we can do. Let’s not beat ourselves up about how we move forward. The main thing is that we move forward. I mua!

Maybe I have strayed too far from the tenets of the hoole waiona people tonight… auwe.
