John Harvey Coney visits Honolulu, 1869.

The Sheriff of the island of Keawe [Hawaii] was here in Honolulu, that being Mr. J. H. Coney [J. H. Koni] Esq., of Hilo, the haole that arrested the rebels of the group of J. Kaona, binding them fast with marine rope; he returned aboard the steamer “Ossipee,” on this past Saturday.
