On this past Monday, the 28th of February, presented before the Supreme Court by Mr. A. J. Cartwright [A. J. Kakalaika], was a document saying that this was the last will of Her Highness, the late Princess Miriam Likelike Cleghorn. And he also asked that the document be enforced, and to issue a letter of testamentary [palapala luna hooponopono waiwai] for the aforementioned Mr. Cartwright. The application will be heard on the coming 25th of July.
It was stated in the will that Princess Kaiulani was her heir, and Mr. Cartwright was the executor and trustee. The real estate [waiwai paa] is sworn as being about $15,000, and the personal property [waiwai lewa] as $5,000.
