More oopuhue death, 1868.

At Waiehu, in the morning of the 13th, a family obtained a fish called an oopuhue. That fish of the ocean that is thorny and puffs up its stomach [ia opukeke kalakala].

The oopuhue was broiled and the ohana ate it. The one who ate first is dead,and the ones who ate after are in critical condition [ola nawaliwali].
