Onomea Sugar Plantation.—This past Saturday, at 12 noon, that sugar plantation above was put up at auction before the public in front of the entrance of the courthouse here in Honolulu. The auction persisted without a single person placing any bids. There was one person who lazily put in a bid of a dollar, and the bidding was put to an end. This sugar plantation is truly not desirable. Why is this?
