Waialua Girls’ Boarding School land auctioned off, 1883.

The plot of land at Waialua on this Island, embracing an area of 24¼ acres, which has been occupied by the Waialua Female Seminary for the past sixteen years, was sold on Saturday, at Auction by Mr. E. P. Adams, for $2,750.00 to Doctor N. B. Emerson.

    My Great great great grand mother, Mary Kaanehu Kaiaikawaha Nathaniel wife of Thomas K. Nathaniel was a formal student at Waialua Seminary. I found an newspaper article on Waialua Seminary, that mention her, Mrs. Thomas K. Nathaniel and another formal student, Miss Burns – The Hawaiian Gazette dated 27 Jul 1881, Wed • Page 2
    I was hoping there might be more information on the Waialua Seminary and my Kupuna
