Some children were riddling, and the first one queried, “My dear bird, know of the waters and droop [kuu wahi manu, ike i ka wai la luhe]?” The second one replied, “A dragonfly [he pinao].” The other rejected this, saying it wasn’t that, “It is a man, because when a man is drunk with alcohol, he droops and reels.”
