D. Howard Hitchcock gifts painting to Hilo, his home town, 1926.

D. Howard Hitchcock has gifted a work painted skillfully by him of a place on Hawaii Island, and he gifted this to the Hilo Town and the painting will be hung in the Library here in Hilo. Hilo is where Hitchcock was born, and this is a gift of remembrance to his Town where he lived for a long time during his youth.
