Kuliana Maunakea in automobile accident, 1920.

Julian Monsarrat [Kuliana Maunakea] of Kapapala met with an accident when his car swerved on the side of the road of the Waiakea Homesteads; he was pinned under the car that flipped over and some of his ribs were broken. He here at Hilo Hospital under the care of Dr. Osorio. The doctor reported that he will recover from this accident.
