Kuokoa critique of other newspapers, 1887.

We hear that a government newspaper will be published. “Government Gazette” it the haole name. “Kekake Aupuni” is the Hawaiianization. According to what is heard, the paper will be printed at the Elele office. They are of the same kind; errand kekake* of the government.

*A play on the word, meaning “gazette” and “donkey”. I have not seen any issues of this paper yet.
