Genealogy of Kahaopulani, 1911.

CORRECTION OF GENEALOGY

This is a reprinting of the genealogy of Kahaopulani, the royal caretaker who raised Kamehameha I. at Awini; and so that the number of children given birth by Kamaka Stillman in a direct line, and not just one daughter as was shown in the earlier printing in Issue 19, Volume II of Ke Au Hou, May 10, 1911:

Here is the royal genealogy of Kahaopulani: Kaaloikanoa (f) dwelt with Umihulumakaokalani (m), born were three boys, they being Palena (m), Paia (m), and Luahine (m); Luahine dwelt with Hikuikekualono (f), born were 4 boys and one girl, that being Kahaopulani, the one who raised Kamehameha I.; and Kahaopulani dwelt with Ki’oula (m), born was Kuakane (f), the one who drank of the same mother’s milk as the Chief [Kamehameha]; Kuakane dwelt with Kamoeau (m), born was Akimakaokalauhue (f); Akimakaokalauhue (f) dwelt with Kamalanaikuaheahe (m), born was Kapiimoku (f); Kapiimoku (f) dweltwith Kekahili (m), born was “Oukamakaokawaukeoiopiopio” (Mrs. Kamaka Stillman), and Keomoku (f). These are the children of Kamaka Stillman:  Rose Kapuakomela (f) (Mrs.McInerny), Oliver Kawailahaole Stillman, Charles Keonaona Stillman, Jennie Kapahukalaunu Smythe and Helen Anianiku Cushingham. Kapuakomela dwelt with A-i Akau (m), born was Henry Umihulumakaokalani (m), Abbie Kaaloikanoa Zablan, Oliver Kahokuauokekai (m), Mercedes Leleinaha Deuvauchelle, Helen Kahaopulani Asam, Agnes Punana Chung Hoon. A-i Akau passes and Kapuakomela remarries with Mr. E. McInerny, born were Gertrude Kaninaulani Watson, Sybil Kahulumanu McInerny, George trousseau McInerny, herbert Edward McInerny, May Kukailani McInerny and many grandchildren.  Lele-i-na-ha.
