ON VOTER REGISTRATION, 1902.

RIGHT TO VOTE

TIME TO REGISTER: 7 UNTIL 8 IN THE MORNING, 5 UNTIL 10 IN THE EVENING, EVERYDAY EXCEPT SUNDAY.

NOW IS THE TIME TO REGISTER NAMES IN THE VOTER REGISTRATION LIST AND DON’T DELAY IN REGISTERING YOUR NAME WHICH GIVES YOU THE POWER TO VOTE. FOR THOSE WHO THINK THAT THEY HAVE KULEANA TO VOTE BECAUSE THEY HAD KULEANA FROM REGISTERING IN THE LAST SEASON, THEY ARE VERY WRONG TO THINK SO. THOSE WHO FAIL TO REGISTER THEIR NAME ON THE VOTER REGISTRATION LIST OF 1902 WILL NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE AT THE BALLOT BOX IN NOVEMBER 1902.

[I hope everybody is registered now that registration is a lot easier today. There is no reason not to vote.]

  1. imagine the Hawaii Governor appointed by the sitting President of US – for nearly 60 yrs of Territory status that’s what happened – you had NO VOTE; when a governor wanted to become an Elks member – he had to be voted on by membership; minutes say “FINALLY we’ve elected a Governor !”
