WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE ASSOCIATION MEETING.
A meeting of the Women’s Suffrage Association will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1912, at 2 p. m. at the residence of Mrs. J. M. Dowsett, the President. It is desired the members and friends congregate at that time.
[There was a time when women could not vote. Don’t waste the kuleana.]

1913 – then Judge Sanford Dole spoke at Elks Flag Day ceremonies (he was not an Elk) and foresaw future voting rights for women (AND ‘delivery from the tyranny of capital’ [earth shaking for business elite that the Elks membership was then)
