King Kalakaua goes fishing for upapalu, 1875.

Fond of Fishing—On the past bright moonlit night of Tuesday, the King went to fish for upapalu outside of the lagoon [kuaau] of Kuloloia. Perhaps he partook in a lot of upapalu thereafter.
