1340 POUND MARLIN HOOKED
HILO, Hawaii, Sept. 18—According to the story of a fisherman, it is the first time he caught such a huge a’u with a hook. This large fish of the sea weighed 1340 pounds. This fish fought for over an hour thinking that it would get free from the hook, but its wished did not come true, and it was put upon the sampan and now sits in the market.
This a’u was caught outside of Ka-u.
