Government incentive to process tobacco, 1873.

OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION.

A premium of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS is hereby offered to the company or individual who shall first cure by the “Culp” process, and export, twenty-thousand pounds (20,000 lbs.) of Hawaiian grown tobacco [paka]; provided, that parties who intend to compete for this premium, shall give notice to the Minister of the Interior, before the 1st day of March 1874.
