TERRIBLY SAD.
In the dark hours of this past Monday, Oct. 8, the angel of death fetched the life breath of Royalist Leialoha Waiau, and took it away, and left behind dust to dust.
This beautiful flower bloomed forth in the flower garden of Mr. and Mrs. Keliinohola Lono of the shade of the breadfruit trees of Lele, Lahaina, Maui. The number of days he spent breathing in the air of this dispiriting world was 8 months and 21 days.
This baby was taken by Lieutenant Waiau [? Waiau Jerome Feary] with the idea that he’d be a hanai child, and an heir, and that things would be good, but here the Lord came for him first and took his soul.
O Parents of the child, and the hanai parents, do not be sad, for the ones that he loves, he takes in their youth, and blessed be his name. Whereas aloha is not something severed in torrents, but we will all find rest through Jesus Christ.
