Death of Rev. Simeon Kahelemauna in Micronesia, 1876.

[Found under “Nu Hou Kuloko.”]

Death in unfamiliar lands.—This is something sad and regretful for us to announce to the thousands of readers of the Kuokoa: one of the servants sent by the highest God to the Archipelago of Micronesia, that being Rev. S. Kahelemauna; he died on the island of Mille on the 8th of January, 1876; he was just sick for two days and he died. He left behind his wife and two children grieving on this side of the grave.

    • pAloha Jayden..this is my first time on this site and I saw your interest in Rev. Simeon Kahelemauna who also is an interest to me. His Father is also known by the same name was a Missionary also of those times and He also traveled the south pacific. There are printing Notices made by Rev Simeon Nawaa during his mission stays in the Micronesian Islands and Marshall islands.
