WILLIIAM HOOKANO

William Hookano, aged 52, who for over twenty years was on the police force in Lihue, died at his home Sunday afternoon, says Tuesday’s Garden Island, Lihue, Kauai. Hookano was raised by his uncle, Sam Kaeo, who took charge of him when he was an orphan of six years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Hookano have had a large family of children, twenty-one in all, seven of whom are living.
