This is the opening of the serial column.
“Ka Bounty ame Na Luina Kipi ame ka Moolelo o ka Mokupuni Pitakaina” runs in Kuokoa from 6/21 to 9/27/1918. I am not sure what text it was translated from, but it closes with the statement, “The person who wrote this story is a descendant of the mutineers of the ship, the Bounty, and therefore we know that this contains everything about Pitcairn and Norfolk; and he was 93 when he died.”
