TO BE MARRIED: Miss Annabelle Todd, the daughter of Mrs. Eliza Todd and Albert Walter Todd who passed earlier, of Hilo; it was just announced that she was engaged to Everette Wayne Evans of Honolulu.

Announced in Hilo nei was the engagement of Miss Annabelle Koomeauluokalani Todd, the dainty daughter of Mrs. Eliza K. Todd of Hilo nei and Albert Walter Todd, who left this life, to Everette Wayne Evans of Honolulu.
The tying together of the two of them will be held here in Hilo sometime during the coming of May.
Miss Todd is a girl very well known in Hilo, and she is working at the Naniloa Hotel. She graduated from Hilo High School and is an elder sibling of Nani Todd who is travelling with the Band and Choir of Ray Kinney at the Lexington Hotel in New York. She is a niece of E. V. Todd of the Brewer Company [C. Brewer & Co.] of Honolulu.
Mr. Evans is a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Evans of Indiana and has been living in Hawaii for a year and a half. He is residing in Honolulu and is employed at the Hawaiian Gas Products Ltd. of Honolulu.
These young people are planning on living in Honolulu.
