I am truly blessed to answer to you as to the questions pertaining to us, the students. And these are the answers to those questions:
1. What is your name?
Miss Rebekah Kaheiki.
2 Where do you live now?
At Kalapana, Puna, Hawaii.
3 What do you do now?
I have work that is agreeable, and do what I can.
4 Are you married?
No.
I left the school of Haleiwa, Waialua in the month of June 21, 1881. Under your care, O Mary E. Green, our beloved teacher, and I came back under the care of my parents, and I am now living in comfort.
Give all my aloha to the students of the Haleiwa school, my dear home where I enjoyed with my schoolmates there at the time.
I am done now.
