JUNE 15, 1870.
The Jubilee Parade will be set in order at Kawaiahao, at 9 o’clock in the morning of Wednesday, June 15, as follows.
Band Members.
Members of the Hawaiian Evangelical Association [Ahahui Euanelio Hawaii].
Pastors of all the Faiths.
The Mission Children’s Society [Ahahui Misionari o na Keiki Hawaii Haole].
Students of the Lahainaluna Seminary.
Members of the Legislature.
The parade will go from Kawaiahao and climb Richards Street; there turn on Beritania Street, and proceed and go down Nuuanu Street; the Kaumakapili Sunday School join in there, turn on King Street up until the Polelewa Church, where they will join with the Sunday School of Polelewa and Kaukeano.
After them will be the public.
The parade will go on and enter Kawaiahao.
[I wonder what will happen next year at this time. It will be the 200th anniversary of the arrival of the missionaries.]
