KALAUPAPA SONG.

Kaulana o Molokai i na Mokupuni,
Ke kahua hoolulu a ka Lepela,
Ala ka iini i ka aina,
Kahi a ka manao e hana mau nei.
I nei aina hoi au ike iho ai,
Ka nohona nune a ka manao,
Pau ka ikena i ka aina,
Mamuli o nei hana kupilikii.
Hiki mai kuu kino i Kalaupapa nei,
Mamuli o nei hana a ke aloha ole,
Aloha ko leo a e ka makua,
I ke kaukau mai me ka waimaka.
Ua pau kou pono a e ka makua,
Eia kuu kino me ka papa ola,
Ua ola makou i ke aupuni,
I ka ai kaulana a ka papa ola.
Hanohano Kalaupapa i kau ike,
Kilakila i ka nani a o Waimanu,
Iwaiwa na hana a ka enemi,
I ka pane ana mai me ke aloha ole.
Aloha e ka leo o ka luna nui,
I ka pane ana mai me ka maluhia,
Hainaia mai ana ka puana,
Haaheo o Kalaupapa i kau ike,
Haina houia mai ka puana,
Me oe ke aloha pili hemo ole.
