William F. Cogswell paintings of King Kalakaua and Queen Liliuokalani, 1892.

The large standing portraits of the deceased King along with Queen Liliuokalani that the haole painter W. Cogswell skillfully painted with his brush went to the Queen for the price of almost $4,000.

[If you want to see these two paintings for yourself, just book a tour at Iolani Palace!]
