George Hyatt has died—On this past Sunday, Feb. 13, George Hyatt died at the Queen’s Hospital. He was an old black man, and he was well known here in Hawaii. He was from Pittsburgh, Virginia, and he was 65 years old. And the length of his residence in Hawaii nei was almost fifty years. He was skilled at playing wind instruments [puhi ohe]; and he was well known by the name “Keoki Puhi-ohe.”
