For the patient and fearless man who gave his life for the good of his Lahui, his Land, and his Monarch.

On this past Saturday, January 14th, Queen Liliuokalani was pleased to decorate the Hon. Jospeh Nawahi of the Kanilehua rain of Hilo with the Knight Commander of the Order of Kalakaua (ke Ke’a Hoohanohano o ka Moi Kalakaua). By this, the Queen shows her desire to honor and thank her makaainana who loves his Alii and land.
