[Liliu Loloku Song.
O Liliulani
Our Monarch
Hear us
Extract and discard
Sweep aside and toss away
The growing evil
All over.
O Lolokulani
Our Alii
Hearken
Listen to the plea
Of your people
So that a new foundation
May be built
O Liliuloloku
Pry off until no more
Are the enemies
From Hilo to Niihau
Reinstate
Sound council for you
So that you are alike
The all-powerful Logou
Forever is your aid
Your throne
Will not sway
Will not bow down
Ever steadfast
Will be your nation.
Affectionately for the Ruling Alii, by Is. Pu. Ma. Ka. Ka. Chy. ]
[Does anyone know who the initials refer to at the end? This mele is reprinted once again in the Elele 3/7/1891, p. 4, without the composers listed.]
(Leo o ka Lahui, 3/4/1891, p. 2)

Ka Leo o ka Lahui, Buke II, Helu 142, Aoao 2. Maraki 4, 1891.
Is there music associated with the words, by any chance? Maybe this was a popular Hawaiian tune of the time set to these words?

Good question! Many times if there was a given tune that was taken from another popular song of the time, it would be listed as well. This one in both printings in the newspapers did not indicate a tune. Maybe someone else might know.
