Grade 8 Kamehameha Boys Best Singers

Grade eight of the Kamehameha School for Boys was the successful class at the annual interclass singing contest held Thursday night at the Bishop museum. The George Alanson Andrus trophy,  a silver loving cup was presented to the winners by Chester G. Livingston, chairman of the judges.

“The Soldier’s Farewell,” and original composition, two Hawaiian songs “Akahi Hoi” and “Nani Wale Lihue,” where the pieces sung by the winning team. the decision of the judges was based on volume, harmony, originality and rendition.
