WANTS A DIVORCE.
Kalani Noholoa brought before the First Circuit Court [Aha Kaapuni Ekahi] a petition for divorce from her husband David Noholoa who lives in the land of suffering being striken by the illness that separates families.
According to Kalani, the two of them were married at Waimanalo on the 15th of December 1878, and there were married for 19 years until 1897, when the hand of the government reached out and severed the end of the golden cord of marriage, and he was taken to Molokai while leaving his beloved wife behind here. They were not well-to-do, and the wife has tried hard by herself to make a living since their being separated.
