DAINEL AKANA KU, JR. [DANIEL AKANA KU, JR.]

This is a picture of a Hawaiian boy skilled at playing the steel guitar; Mr. Sam Ku, Jr. is his older brother’s name. He was born in Honolulu; Mrs. Elena Mahu is his mother and Sam Ku, Sr., his father, who is a guard at the insane asylum.

They have two boys, Mr. Sam Ku, Jr., the older brother, who is touring foreign lands as a professional musician, and that learning that he has, is being employed by his younger brother on Kauai, and he is totally competent in this profession.

While he was a baby, he was taken as a hanai by Albert Akana and Mrs. Mary Akana Mahu, but because of the debility of his adoptive parent, he returned to Kauai, until this adoptive parent left this world in this past August, and he was left with his mama, and it is he who supports her livelihood.
