THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SELECTED BY THE MAKAAINANA of Honolulu at the meeting at Kaumakapili to plan and to provide for the activities to celebrate the day

that being the coming 31st of July, is proclaiming by this Announcement to all makaainana, to join with them in being thankful for that day. The activities planned by your Committee are here below:

A PARADE!

IN THE TOWN OF HONOLULU.

A SPEECH!

AND OTHER APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES AT KAWAIAHAO CHURCH.

A BANQUET!

OF THE HAWAIIAN KIND, AT KOHOLALOA.

His Highness L. KAMEHAMEHA has agreed to be the President of the day.

The Hon. R. G. DAVIS (Lopaka) has agreed to give the speech on that day.

The Flag Badges cost at a quarter and are with the Committee whose names are written below, and that is the badge to join in the Parade, and the Church, and the Banquet, to be placed on your front.

The proceeds, after the costs of the Banquet are paid off, will be given to the Queen’s Hospital.
