Kamehamehanui with Kekumano, begat Kalanihelemailuna; with Kawao, begat A. Paki; with Konia, begat A Pauahi Bishop.

[For a long time I have been wondering why Bernice Pauahi Bishop was sometimes referred to as “A Pauahi” or “A. Pauahi.” Finally thanks to the previous reminiscences of Emma Ahuena Taylor, we know that A was one of Pauahi’s names!]
