EMMA KALELEONALANI AT KOHALA.
On Friday last, there was held a large feast at Halawa, at the residence of H. Hook, for the Queen Emma Kaleleonalani, and after this delight, the royal procession continued on that twilight and slept that night at the residence of James Kaai. There was much honoring done by the makaainana of that district that night. On the following Saturday, they slept at the J. Kekipi’s place and spent two days there, and on the following Tuesday, the royal procession continued on and slept at Kamauoha Jr.’s place. That night there was given a grand feast by some of the wealthy of that area totaling $1,000. On the next Wednesay, the royal procession went on to Waimea, and they reposed that night at the home of J. Parker. In the afternoon of Thurday, they procession continued on to the mountain, and slept at Mana, and the next day they returned to Waimea, and the following day, the procession went on to Waiau, on the mountain. The royal one is in good health, as well as her travelling companions; this royal procession met up with the princess Likelike on this travel to see the sights.
