We are saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Maraea Brown, on the second of this month, at Hilo. She was ill for a lengthy six months, until the day she died. This is a woman familiar to those of this town from the time she lived here with her first husband, the Alii, John Ii; and familiar to Hilo people because of her new husband, John T. Brown. She was 30 or so years old.
