Kawaiahao enforces grave cleaning, 1920.


Everyone who has a multiple graves or a grave in the Cemeteries of Kawaiahao, Kamoiliili, and Manoa, are ordered to clean them um soon, before Decoration Day [Memorial Day]. For those people that do not abide by this, the Cemetery Committee will go in and clean them up and charge for the expenses for the cleaning.

Memorial Day, 1920.

A parade is being planned for the approaching Decoration Day. Being that the day falls on a Sunday, the parade will be held on the following Monday, along with all of the commemorations pertaining to the day.
