THE BILL FOR THE BIRTHDAY OF KALANIANAOLE PASSES.

Unexpected opposition raised against the B. H. 21 which was introduced by Representative John W. Kalua to make the birthday of Prince Kuhio Kalanianaole into a government holiday [kulaia aupuni] was seen last Monday when the bill was taken up for the third reading in the house of representatives [hale o na lunamakaainana].
